Blue sedan I didn’t learnt the 1st go around

So as a teenager I had 3 e30s beat them up really bad . Went to the Honda scene for a while and off road Tacoma . Then I got back in a e46 in 2012 in 2019 I picked up an e30 1991 318i that I did everything to that I possibly could think of . So not bored with the 1991 I found this on eBay ended up winning it for a decent price
1986 325e sedan auto under 200k miles but broken odometer
3/4 bad window regulators no AC no catalytic registration on non op from 2020 . Was resprayed at some point . Cluster issues interior not horrible but not good . Drove it home 80 miles runs and drives well . Did plugs oil change and a new cat passed with flying colors . Don’t know where I will take it from here but will be registered this weekend . Here are some pics

Seat looks like it came up decent, did you buy one of those premade leather kits for it?
Interested to hear what you did for the foam.

I have to ask, do you plan to do a manual swap?

No I have a very old school retired guy that usually does my interior stuff . So he did it from scratch/using whatever prices I showed him the seats and asked him about the foam he said don’t worry about it . Also said he added extra on the bolstered and lower cushion on the driver seat as it gets used the most He does classic cars that come with just the frame and the springs he told me .
I do not plan on doing a manual swap . This will be a very stock oem build . As I’m 40 now so this will be my old man car . The other white car is manual s50 swapped so that’s the fun car

I made a mess of the AC system so I’m starting over . I think my evaporator contaminated everything . So I’m flushing everything and getting a new evap compressor and drier . New oil and recharge and see how it goes. Because of the AC fail I haven’t had much motivation . But managed to get 1 door cars on and dyed the rear shelf and out the rear seats in . It’s really hot in California so the motivation after work isn’t quite there to work on it

Yes although I would have preferred cold AC over new interior or wheels . In reality timing belt cooling system all new AC full interior wheels and cluster rebuild was a big ask for 3-4 weeks time . But it will get there . New tires maybe next weekend

Maxilite 16x7 I didn’t want to deal with lug conversion spacers hub centric rings trying to make wheels fit . Yeah I know reps but brand new and direct fit made this ideal for me

I’m having a hell of a time with this AC job . Now I’m having wiring problems . 40 years old car almost . Plus not being driven for 5 years . Busted a power steering hose also . In trying to DIY as much as possible . I do have another e30 and a daily driver truck so thankfully this is not a car I “need” anywho . I had to clean the garage so I threw the wheels on to make more space . These wheels just suit e30s AWDBOB has been really helpful with parts and knowledge for me . Thanks man
