It looks great, but I think your yellow fog colors clash with the orange of the blinkers. Some smoked blinkers may look good.

I feel your pain on those e-brake fittings. The trick is to cut the cable off and drill them out.

Now get that subframe installed. If I can do it by myself you can too!

Might want to notch those bushings so your can get to that outside bolt easier and make adjustments easier.

I'm getting a lot of maintenance done to it first. I'm hoping that in the next moth H&R cup kit is going in.

          Great job man!
Its the flange that sits in the trunk that needs to be modded but only
          if you have a touring.

Now I'm starting to wonder if the bracket+bolts will be too thick to be
able to install the trim back on. Might have to make some new thinner
flanges and buy some bolts with lower heads.

Might try to smoke a set and try them out.

That would have been another way to do it.

Should I just cut the bushing even with the subframe?

yes, I also notched the reinforcement plates but I'm not so sure you have to do that because I didn't use them on my car. BUT everyone around me that runs correction kits with poly subframe bushings notches them.

No idea how its called. I had those seat in my last e30 so
I'm only running the fronts. I've seen that pattern only in some 318is
                  and one imported 318i.

Well I will use the collective wisdom and notch them.

Update this week is almost nothing... :-(

I don't have my parts so I can't do shit.

I only worked on the car today and half of the day was going from
one driveline shop to an other trying to find someone willing to fix or
cheap enough so I wouldn't have to buy a new one. That didn't go
to well...dealer got my money BUT I will have a new driveshaft +CSB
+Guibo in 5 to 7 days... So my car should be on the road in less than
10 days which is great news for me.

The only did small stuff today mainly check the torque on each bolts that
I had removed. I found a few that were not torqued properly so I'm glad
I did this even though it was time consuming.

Also installed the rsm reinforcement plates. I had installed a set on my
318is as well and installation was a bit easier last time. Not that it is
                      harder but more time consuming.

The RSM on a touring are a little bit harder to access than a sedan.
You have to remove the seat belt base to access the second bolt of the
RSM. Also My interior was already apart so that made things easier
otherwise I would have had to remove the whole panel that normally
                      covers the wheel well.

Also don't do like I did and install the RSM in without the shock already
installed...I only did this on the first one. I was wondering why it was
so hard to access the bolt

So that is pretty much it for this week. More when I get my parts from
Blunttech and my drive shaft from the dealer...

Good to know about the RSM... I need to get everything out before taking it to the shop. I'm getting an H&R cup kit (Touring) I hope is not to soft....

What are the rates on the H&R cup kit? Aren't the cup kit springs super
                          soft but progressive....?

What are you having done to your car suspension wise?

Well it’s my daily driver so I want to have something comfortable for daily driving. I’m also adding a rear sway bar IE with the stiffest setting to compensate.
M3 control arms and OEM bushings, I had some Powerflex bushings in the past and they worked great on the E30 but I’m going a different route this time.

just installed the coils in my touring. What a pain in the ass the rear was. Lost a 10mm deep socket down the hole in front of the shock tower :(
Your project is looking great, good job
