          Stripped the engine of everything I wont be using and removed the upper and lower pans. Tomorrow I'll clean the upper pan and scrub the block down and then tackle the timing covers.

                      Back at it.

                      Got the E32 booster bracket test fitted finally. It's amazing that all the contours line up like this. It's like it was made for the E30 inner fender. Crazy.







                      Still need an extra set of hands for my final sharpie marks but this thing fits perfectly.



                      Modified booster bracket to clear the lower frame rail. I'll explain why I cut it so short on my next update when the bracket is tacked in.

                        Got everything back from the media blaster, timing covers arent pictured.



                        Valve covers will be wrinkle black powdercoat.

                            Without accesories I think its only a few pounds. Keep in mind the M60 sits lower and further back than the M50 also.

                                Some progress finally. 3 weeks and $375 later all my timing covers and valve covers are cleaned and powdercoated.

                                Natural matte look to the timing cases.



                                Black wrinkle on the VC's.
