I'm going to steal your idea of using the booster bracket from e32 :D
It makes things a hell of a lot easier! You'll have to massage that mount a little to get it to fit correctly with the inner fender contour.
EDIT: Also meant to add my body guy said the inner fender alone wasn't enough structure to endure repeated braking force applied to it. I had plans to beef up the mount area and also brace it against the core support but have since moved to building a boosterless set-up.
Great job! Looks great man love the color.. I personally would've done the engine bay same color. But still looks nice.
That was my original plan but it would have been more money to paint body color and the semi flat lets me change things in the bay (weld brackets etc.) and then I can just touch it up myself without a trip back to the body shop.
Was there anything else required to get rid of the airbag stuff? Did the SRS light come on in the check panel or anything like that or is it just as simple as remove the sensors and swap out the steering wheel?

Amazing build! I love the black engine bay.
I unbolted the sensors, shaved the brackets and pulled the wiring back through the main engine/ body grommet in the firewall. I have a euro upper sunroof crank surround/ front headliner trim panel that is blank where you would normally find the check panel. I also put in a Momo wheel and a spacer I made for the airbag column.
Installed a C02 tank, lines and tap in the shop fridge so not much progress has been made lately. Mounted some e60 style 134 with a set of Hankook R comps I had laying around. Clear the M3 brakes and I won't need to roll the fenders.
Great look with these wheels. Did you use a spacer to get them flush? I belive they're 16x7 et20?

I mention Metric Mechanic because it is a great way to empty your wallet to get unverified horsepower gains."
