Why are you getting rid of the tar anyway? I thought you needed traction because of toarks.
Just to be cool like everyone else ;)

I wasn't even planning on getting rid of it. I was taking out that firewall panel thing because the sub caused it to rattle wayyy too much. So I had the carpet out, saw the tar, removed the tar, and ended up with profit. Better fitting box, no more rattle, and ultimate weight reduction. I'm getting some 9" rears soon so I'm not too worried about traction ;)

                Got some of these

So I made one of these to fit them (fender roller!!!)

                Jacked up for measurements

2 skateboard wheels for the rollers...ground down on one side so they'll mate up better

Didn't get many pics of the whole process...but here are some more.

Sandblasted the parts. Then PC'd them

                All done ;)

Rolled the drivers side fenders today. It worked pretty well! Test fitted the wheels. They are 16x9 et20. I am using a 10mm spacer up front and an 8mm spacer in the rear. Converting the front to studs, and the rear will use extended lugs for now.

Will have more pics tomorrow ;)
