Well do you have girling or ate front calipers? For Girling it says you need the one kit for the front, for ATE, you need two.

And so far it sounds like I'm a little closer than $80, but if its that big of a deal, you don't have to get them. It was merely a suggestion;)

Well I can always do them later.. it is only another liter of brake fluid + the kits.

You want a good transfer coating no matter what the compound is.

Yes I understand that, but doing 10 60-0 stops on stock pads likely isnt a good idea. 4 or so is more like it I am guessing

You drive around and give it time to cool, you don't do it consecutively. You shouldn't have to do more than 4 though.

Well I know racing pads and Hawks it is like 8 times or so from 45-5 then 6 from 65-5

So I am right though about the rebuild kits, if I decide to do it later it is only pulling the caliper, removing pads, doing the replacements, put pads back on then rebleeding?

There is no set number, just get the brakes hot enough to where you really smell them and that is good. Just don't come to a complete stop before letting them cool off. It's not rocket science.

You'll feel the pads start to fade after 4-6 hard stops. You want to mash the brakes just to the brink of ABS engagement.
