In other news, I ordered a cam chain tool it works for a bunch of different sizes from motorcycle cam chains to the actual drive chain to i should work well. only $40.

dropping my pan off at a welder to get my fitting welded on

already received my head studs so if my chain press works and my welder isnt lazy M30 should be done this coming week.

But........I dont have a turbo, wastegate or driveshaft yet:(

Good choice of turbo 6266 is what I'm gonna go with as well my friend had one in his Evo 10 and made around 615 they spool quick.

so thinking of getting a driveshaft from a 99 m3 e36, any reason not to? it uses the big guibo and should be the correct length for the swap, anyone else use one in an M30 swap?
does it need to be from an auto or manual?

It'll need to be from a manual, but yeah that should work.

I'm redrilling garagistic mounts for position "3.5" and going to use a driveshaft from a z3 and an e36 as a combo mix. I'm not concerned about big or small guibos assuming the output flanges from a g260 and g265 are interchangeable.
