I didn't measure but just went until it just cleared booster by about 2-3mm. I have condor mounts so hopefully it's enough clearance. It put it high enough that had to cut out a good chunk of the hood skeleton. Even after clearance the metal backing plate with a notch around booster and flattening the bottom of the number 6 velocity stack to get it installed .

Tough balance between clearing booster or hitting hood, but nothing a spacer, dremel and hammer couldnt fix....

If you used a credit card file a disputed and withhold payment. As long as you have pics before delivery the shop is screwed and has to address the problem to your satisfaction. Sometimes it's an employee that screws up with the owner unaware. You never know, just get your evidence straight and force the issue, preferably with a neutral party as intermediaryLeave a comment:

I always take photos, so yes these were taken right as it was installed, clearly no damage to either valance or ACS lip

do you have any proof of what it looked like before? You might be SOL. I would for sure talk to whoever is in charge, but I wouldnt expect much to happen. sucksLeave a comment:

Guys need some advice, we got my brothers car back from paint and we noticed the front spoiler was crooked but today we decided to fix it thinking the body shop was just lazy but we discovered they hit something with car, destroyed the oem valance and then repaired and glued the ACS front lip on crooked and put screws all over it then bondo's and painted over it. What can I do? They clearly are at fault but how do I prove it and get them to fix it?
