and of course its raining out...and it will be raining for next 5 days :( :( :( this really sucks my car is ready to go! like now... always something! I will be watching the temp soon as I see dry pavement I am out tuning!
FLG and DARVO .... Guy's here is what we are going to do. I put some tought into it and screw the group buy and screw me making money I would have a lot more fun working with you guys remotely as a coach in helping every step of the way. Start a new thread together or individual when your ready and I will guide you both (only thing I ask is you be friends with a welder or learn how to weld mig :) its worth every penny. I will tell you what materials to buy...where to cut...where to weld..everything. Second thing please buy the MSII computer from our friend whodwho if you dont already have MSII and I will give you guys my twincharged tune running 60# injectors for it.
I love helping others... the wicked smile from ear to ear your guys will have when done will be all worth it for me.Denny

Sweet. Your the man!
When I get home im gonna give this thread a good look over and see how I'll need to do this, cost, and what parts I'll need. As you know I have the turbo already running mint. Also I'm using ms1 v3.0 which I think will suffice? Also I suck at welding but am friends with guys who mig/tig so I'll be alright in that dept

Centrifugal (rotrex, vortech, etc..) who generate not much air at Idle or part throttle, you wont even see fulll boost on them until redline. I had one of these on my 2003 330 i Rotrex kit from AA in florida. Car was not fast lol... faster then stock but torque was exactly like stock... thee can keep the throttle at it stock location.
Roots type (Eaton, Twinscrew,) they generate air always so only way to control it is the amount of air you let in. In my first version of when I was Supercharged only....the car ran like crap and the amount of annoying air bypass sound was so damn loud it literally sounded like a f16 aircraft (not the nice blower sound) if you look in my youtube chanel you will see a vid in there of it... When I move the throttle it made a world of a different on everything. And believe me its not a pain at all if you build the SC like I did with a good top plate to be able to secure it..the throttle orientation and wire you can see in my pic stays the same direction it was very very easy to move.
Plus you need to have the throttle before the Supercharger anyways if you want to twincharge like my setup.

these are soooo much more effecient its crazy. Corky bell in his book supercharged describes it best. Its not how long the fin tubes are its how many of them you have in total and in this setup it does the job of cooling my twincharged really well plus you need the same side in and out 2.5" tubes.
