Bought some brake lines a bender and took the red car to a local GA show! Put the front tires back on because the front brakes are done, and hung more parts on the rear.

Well, today we got back to work, I have put this off for a bit for my own reasons, and today was not productive. The brake lines are not that great, we broke a rear caliper today, and its not really going that well. I need to press on, as well as I need at least 1 rear caliper. The work is never done. Whatever it takes to get this one back on the road.

Went out and hit a junk yard today and have some progress to report. I spent about $200 and got the following list of parts.
-4 phone dial wheels and tires
          -Is lid with wing
          -new muffler with hangers
          -front ashtray
          -rear ashtray
          -lighter with image
          -rear muffler heat shield
          -2 window scrapers
-very expensive muffler hanger for cheap
          -diac port top
          -2 vert top latches
          -wiper cowl vents, both
          -spark plug wire loom
-gas tube cover for PS wheel well
And various other crap. It was a dam good day. I have no idea what this would all have cost to buy retail but it was a good day.

P-shop of my idea with the wheels. I test fit them today, hubs are tight but if I clean them they will fit.

So tomorrow I will be doing some of the many new projects. All I can think about though are all the parts I left at the yard!

Got back at it again today. Was a late start but I did get work done.As some keen eyes may have seen, we put the rear back in and left out the springs, so those went in. We bleed the brakes, put the heat shields back in, and buttoned up everything up to the exhaust. We are missing one cat-muffler donut, and no one near me has one. Last thing we did was fill the dif. Fugg, now we wait for ups to send us the donut.

Did some work today on our fleet of cars. Vert got minor attention. Had to do a tuneup on the 80 Vette you see in some pics. Wifes car also needed some attention. Back at it tomorrow.

Up late surfing the web, hoping the last car part shows up as scheduled Tuesday. If so I'll drive it New Year's Day. So far from being "done"

LAST parts came in to get it running. I say that hoping nothing goes wrong tomorrow when I throw the exhaust on. Fingers crossed folks!
