FYI, perforated sheets can be bought from McMaster:

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

Finally got around to reading your thread, great work all the way through. At first I thought this thread was taking a turn for the worst when I saw the hole cut in the hood, but god damn it seems like its coming together nicely.

Thanks man, hopefully I will get some time to work on it soon. I haven't touched the car in about 6 weeks. School starts in a couple and I'm trying to finish the remodel inside the house so my wife doesn't murder me. I have been stock piling parts, so once I do get back on it I should be able to make a lot of progress.

I'll have to get some. Not super impressive as its all mild steel but they still look good.

I'm not sure I even have the templates for them anymore man sorry :( I made that well over a year ago.

I have been doing things to the car though.

Built my own 3" dimple die tool

                          Bent the hoop

Made some gussets to support the cell

Added some more support the the hoop

                          Test fit suspension wheels/tires

                          Thats about it for now.

If by wide body you mean M3 flares and then selling them and parting car out to drive an E46M3; the Nebraska way to wide body.

I am getting a whiff of that too.
