      Great work! I'm so glad I live in a state where rust just isn't an issue. Except in 02s. Rust is somehow always an issue on any car from the 70s and earlier.

            Thanks! I will post more pictures when I get the pieces back from paint. I haven't done much since we got back. I'm also going to start working on the consoles and maybe start a separate thread on those once I get them sorted and put together.

                  Also fitting is that his car made it in the picture of Oktoberfest in Beaver Creek. I just saw it in this month's der Bayerische. He would have been happy it made it there.
