Drilled aluminum alternator/ps pump brackets cut down and installed. Just need a little polishing

If you decide you want to move your battery to the trunk you can use a miata battery to fit in the spot where all the other E30s have their batteries. You can see pics of it in my thread

Deleted the power steering last week. Pump was going out so i decided to pull the belt and see how it was, liked the way it felt so i decided to pull it all off.

Just made a loop at the r&p end with one of the old hoses.

Love the way it feels. Steering is much tighter. It it pretty touchy at high speeds though. Thinking an alignment may help that a little.

Exhaust revised : Orderd a racetep header and picked up some other goodies.

            Wrapped the header primaries

            Welded on a v-band collector

Had to re route the piping to get the collector to mate up

Welded in a new flex pipe

Cut the back muffler off, leaving just the glasspack.

Car is loud as all hell now! Obnoxiously loud lol But it sounds pretty mean. Well be looking into a new muffler to tone it down a little bit. Not sure what yet though

Going to be re doing the exhaust again today. It's waayy to loud for street driving. So i went and picked upa magnaflow 11215 to weld back on. Will be cutting the glasspack out of the system as well.
Heres a link to how it sounds now

I'd leave the Glasspack in and still add the muffler. That's almost the exact setup i had on my old E30 and i loved it

Magnaflow tend to be loud too. If you're looking for performance and low noise get a turbo core muffler. The exhaust is directed through an S shape. Magnaflow is just a straight pipe with some baffling packed in

I like the way the magnaflow sounds. I just cant get rid of the pesky high rpm buzz. Im thinking eventually adding a small resonator. But for now im satisfied with it.

Had to add a small notch to the trans crossmember.

Been some time since ive updated this. Currently working on a rebuilding a junkyard m10 1.8. Hopefully will be boosting it as well. Cleaned it up, pulled the head and pan off and it all the internals look great.

Little bit of carbon build up on the exhaust valves but thats about it. Should make for a smooth rebuild

Did a little bit of taillight resto on the faded lenses a couple days ago.

Wet sanded them and then laid down some clear coat.

Not perfect but they look much better until i decide to buy new lenses

Picked up an nrg steering wheel for cheap. Just needing to order a hub adapter to bolt it on.

All cleaned up. Waiting on parts for reassembly.

Did some light port work to the 1.8i head. Hd springs and retainers will be here soon. Still needing to order a cam. Unsure if i want to go with a 284° shrick or a 284° regrind thought.

Picked up a holset H1C with 16cm turbine. Might be a little bit overkill, but it leaves room for improvement in the future if ever i decide to go a little more wild with the build.

Parts! All that is left to order is timing chain, mls headgasket, clutch, and turbo parts (bov, wastegate, oil lines, etc) but getting close to reassembly
