Finally had some bimmer time today to do a couple small projects I've been wanting to get done for a while!

I have a water problem, and it was quite clear that these bad boys were shot.

      All better!

A new antenna grommet was also in order.

Hood shock has been blown out forever. Finally put the new one on.

Oh, and a sweet fuse box reference sticker!

From this thread! Arrived quickly and they seem to be pretty decent quality.

I don't know yet! I cleaned the water out, I didn't feel like dumping water in the garage, I'm sure this is at least going to be an improvement, though! All six clips/gaskets were completely shot, and the antenna grommet was shot too. I adjusted my trunk latch so it closes better. I hope this solves the problem.

Once I find out that it's 100% fixed I'm going to get that rust fixed.

Cool man let me know how it goes. I think the gaskets on both sides of the air vents (hidden behind the sidemarkers) were shot too iirc. U have to remove the rear bumper to get to it

Absolutely, I will man. Appreciate it.

And good call on the air vent gasket. I need to find a p/n for that.

I wish I could find someone to paint this thing for a reasonable amount!

Trunk gasket looks relatively new. I tightened the latch down and checked it and it seemed to hold. Taillight gaskets I have not done yet. Suppose I'll do that next if this doesn't fix it.

trunk and light gaskets are cheap man.. better safe than sorry. the trunk gasket can stay supple and still shrink so it doesn't seal right. takes 5 min to put on too.. easy insurance against a rusty damp trunk.

Agreed, I'm sure this was just round one of many in the fight against the water. I will definitely replace them if I still find water this week. My garage is filled with parts I've purchased and haven't put on, I'm trying to eliminate the piles before I buy more stuff haha.
