If you dont care about being street legal (which it doesnt seem that way) have you considered an aluminum block 24v? A friend down here is trying to sell an aluminum M52TU for pretty cheap with low miles. A M54B30 would also be a good choice. Aluminum block, torque monster... just saying.

might consider an m50.. not sure yet.. the eta still runs strong.

Plus one on the aluminum motor, however I would go with the Aluminum M52, the M52 is a much more track friendly motor than the M54.
Loving the thread. Digging the aero, the bumper you chose hit me like a left hook and the execution was a kick while I was down. Car looks incredible. The cutouts in the front fenders are so cool!
