Finished up my check list in the engine bay, everything is installed and all wiring done.

Cleaned up the overflow tank, installed new lines for that, and installed a new filler neck.

Put in the passenger seat, and wired up the glovebox light.

            Thanks!

I'm sure my ramblings on here aren't the easiest thing to follow.

            Thanks!

I bought the best looking one I could find, that flocking on the inside isn't easy to reproduce.

12 Hours so far, and the A/C system is holding a vacuum!

Did you end up changing any of the A/C components or you just seeing if it holds vacuum and recharge? Didn't see it mentioned earlier. Need to do this before the summer months and the A/C system is one of those mythical components that I've read a ton on but still seem to know nothing about. Trying to gauge the job in terms of difficulty.

When I bought the car, most of the A/C components were in a box, the dryer and switch are new, rest of it was used.

I cleaned up the lines the best I could, and since the PO had sourced good used stuff, none of the lines had any cracks. I ran a flush through them all just to clean out as much of the old refrigerant as I could. I installed the lines with all new o-rings, new condenser core, new evap core, new expansion valve, and new dryer, the rest were used lines.

Now that it's holding pressure, I'll crack it open, add the PAG oil to the compressor, reseal, pull all the air out, test again, and then it will be ready to fill.

I'll have a buddy of mine come over and fill up the system, but right now Wal-Mart is selling R-134a for $4.88 a can, so I bought 8. The Corvette might need a little juice when the summer comes, and it's good to have some on hand.

                    Short weekend for me.

Fixed (I fucking hope) the shift selector seal.

Installed my Euro turn signals with an E36 side marker light to take the place of the parking lights. Installed the front bumper, in all it's glory.

You're taking the wrong car! ;) Kidding. I bet it's a blast to have infinity torque always.

                          All the torques!

It's a fun ride, but definitely a handful.
BMW's are definitely much more refined.

I have someone who is willing to buy my MC, so I'll take that and the booster out, I got some leftover neoprene from my IHKS rebuild. Going to put in a 25mm unit.

                            #win.

Can you talk a little more about that e36 side marker light retrofit?

I purchased some E36 side markers from eBay, complete with pigtails.
