Ha! That came out great! Do you take the mower to meets?

I got it a month or 2 ago. The engine didnt run and the transaxle had a huge hole in it. It runs, drives and mows now. I will be taking it to a meet in August and sell it there. I have 2 more that should clean up as good if not better.
Nice paint correction! I love doing that to single stage that is faded to hell and it looks new when done. I know this is a lawn mower hood BUT its from the mid 1980's and original paint. Had to wet sand and 3 stage buff it.

Polished and cquartz-ed whole car - not to be underestimated at all, probably 20-30 hours of paint correction!
Opticoat-ed wheels
Installed new Strömung exhaust
Replaced cracked antenna mast rubber gasket
Installed Hella smileys
New euro grills with OE top gaskets and new clips
New iS splitter
Installed x-brace
Broke the driver fog glass to install new glass, waiting on silicone
Installed new vintage hood roundel
Installed new remanufactured AFM
New air filter
New OE driver wiper and Bosch wiper
Cleaned engine bay
New to me mirror housings
Driver side has aspherical mirror
Painted driver door handle
Removed all rubber side trim on doors for refinishing
Did an alignment, 1/8th toe in up front, didnt touch the rear (I have adjustable rear toe posi locks welded on). My outer tie rod on the passenger side is bottomed out and the driver side is 1/2 turn from bottoming out. WTF. Also washed, clay bared and waxed the car.
Replaced the front hubs. One of the inner races didn't come off the spindle. Unfortunately it didn't have the groove (replaced by PO 100k miles ago). So nothing for the puller to grab hold on. Tried channel lock pliers as per one of the youtube videos and didn't work. However a pickle fork behind the inner dust shield worked great. Good thing I had ordered new dust shields and caps.
Second try at aux fan resistor. The amazon 100w 0.5 ohm resistor blew my 15 amp fuse. Went te connectivity 100w 0.47ohm resistor from digikeys and higher mounting spot. Also swapped fuse for 30amp one. Hope this one lasts. I ran the AC with the resistor bypassed for a couple weeks. Kept the AC cold in stop and go traffic but the fan was loud.
