Fun car things on the west coast in June/July

After a long time of dreaming, I've finally booked a holiday to the US. Landing 23 June, will have a motorbike (80s Goldwing) waiting, got a rough route the whole way up PCH to the top then across to Yellowstone and then back down to Vegas, then San Diego (fighter jet spotting), then back to LA. 4 weeks or so. Lots of national parks are on the list. It'll be a dangerous time to be gas station hot dogs and cold beer.

What cool car events are on around that time?
I did see a NASCAR at Sonoma which would be great. Obviously the E30 picnic is on the list too if the dates are ever announced, if its even happening this year.

E30 Picnic is usually Late June so you might be cutting that one close, but if you can... do it!

Theres always some car stuff happening in LA, so hit me up when youre here and we cam link up.

I'm sure you'll get decent car stuff answers here, but if you're going to stop at national parks and are going far enough north, put Crater Lake on the list. It's out of the way but there's nothing else like it.

I looked and its usually last weekend in June so that would in theory give me a week to scoot up to have a gander. It's been on my list for a long long time, but I couldn't wait for dates to be announced to book it in.

At this point I'm anticipating LA will be a grab and go to get out of there, however on the return leg I think I'll spend a little more time. So yes, absolutely, if you want company of a couple of degenerates with punished livers and bad taste in cars.

Noted, I have heard about it and it looks great. I'm going very far north, gonna head right up to the top of the country as the North Cascades look incredible

LA Cars & Coffee in Griffith Park has become a pretty large event. All types of cars, all eras. Last Sunday of every month.

Gutted is an understatement. Wish the dates had been known earlier.
