Sucks that Morgan didn't just off em. So much bullshit happens because Rick and the guys don't just nip it in the bud.

The shot that Rick fired wasn't to kill Pete. Rick saw the opportunity to take over the city, so he actually killed Deanna. The looks of horror on the face of Daryl, Aaron, and Morgan confirm this theory.2014 Alpine White 335i MSport

He killed Pete the abusive husband. He never pointed his gun at Deanna, upwards, etc.
Google.Rick wouldn't kill her when she just told him to kill Pete. That doesn't make any sense. Rewatch the scene, he turns away from her to shoot Pete.
Expanding on that:
Morgan survived his breakdown in large part to Rick, not exactly something you want to walk in on... Your old friend who you thought had very similar morals and ethics, not someone who executes someone when life is precious in his eyes, even the bad people. (We saw how he didn't kill the Wolves that attacked him.) Plus they haven't seen each other in a very long time. Rick never thought he'd see him again, if he hadn't just executed Pete, the finale could have ended with them embracing and being overcome with emotion. They saved each other throughout the zombie apocalypse. Now Morgan sees his old friend execute this man, which Morgan will clearly have something to say to Rick about. It was a look of horror because he does not believe in killing people. In our eyes, of most of the viewers we see the necessary evil of killing bad people, so does Rick. Others won't reach this conclusion without serious events happening. Deanna may not have told Rick to kill Pete if it was anyone else, she didn't believe in killing, that life was precious just like Morgan, but the slaying of her husband released that thought.
Somehow, Glenn did not get bit. He did get shot though.
The main cast could have killed those who betrayed/tried to kill them, but they didn't. Gabriel, the preacher and the Alexandria coward both could have been killed in the finale. They deserved it, but the main characters forgave them in one way or another. The things you do, that shame - you will live with, until zombies eat you. Also, with the Wolves being the most insane and worthy opponents ever seen on this show, our group will need to be ready and have able bodies. The Wolves have Aaron's pack with the pictures of the town as we saw. Season 6 the Wolves no doubt will attack.
I'm very interested in how Fear The Walking Dead pans out, how it's a different story, not tied to the comic books, with a slightly different timeline. The chaos of urban Los Angeles will be extremely entertaining, and if you think about it, they have enough money now to make it on a pretty large scale.Last edited by DEV0 E30; 04-01-2015, 08:39 AM.

1 - def when the guy who always frowns (don't remember his name) pulled the gun on Eugene and Rick walked in. The whole scene I was thinking shit's about to go down, HOLY SHIT NICE DO IT, and then, oh okay, good show ol' chap!
2 - When Rick's love interest told him her son couldn't learn to shoot/survive from him. That stupid bitch set her kid up to die
