Ok...so I'm no photographer, let's just get that out of the way. But, I read StanceNation's most recent post (http://www.stancenation.com/2012/03/19/the-devil/) and I was surprised at TERRIBLE quality (imo) of the photos even though they harp on the photographers ability to:
...and what's right below this excerpt?Due to work schedule for both Javier and Armand, they could only do the shoot at night. Fortunately, Javier’s specialty is nighttime photo shoots as he can control the lightning to his liking. Pictures truly do speak for themselves, so let’s take a look!
This.

How is that quality photography?
I posted on their Facebook post about it and got torn apart. Maybe I am wrong and should keep my thoughts to myself. What's your opinions?

i disagree. those look good to me. the shot of the car is kinda a bad angle but the city blur is interesting to me. remember you have to be open minded with art, i see a lot of SNAP SHOTS of cars that are sharp as hell but are boring as fuck. i just posted photos of cigarette cartons, some would say that is retarded.Ok...so I'm no photographer, let's just get that out of the way. You know what those pics remind me of? Need for Speed Underground 2. Crappy cartoonish feel and all.
And T Verdier, I can see what your getting at, not everyone will like all forms of art. But speaking from a photography point of view, I honestly think I could replicate those pics with my $150 point and shoot. The pics you took of the carton at the very least look well done, even if the subject matter is a bit obscure.
