    Nice shots.

What's with bmw-drivers that can't use indicators but know how to turn on the damn foglights! ...:hitler:

Those are nice. What is that you are flying, it looks a little like at T38 but its short and stubby. Is that an L29?

Anyone have any recommendations on a decent ~$200 point and shoot? My sisters in the market for one and I dont know enough about them to suggest one.. She seems to buy a $100 p/s every couple years and then complains about degrading picture quality, I tried recommending her a cheaper dslr but she doesn't want something that big/price wise.

A little bit more than 200 BUT a excellent P&S and the replacement just came out about a month ago.

                        The Olympus XZ-1
                        http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/OlympusXZ1/

Outstanding little camera for a P&S Supper Low light performance for a small sensor with a super wide max aperture of 1.8-2.5 and good optical range 28-112 35mm equivalent IIRC . Great lens too, Olympus Low ED glass is outstanding and this little guys glass is low ED. Does not have the electronic wizardry of huge amounts of digital zoom like some of its rivals but does give you 4x of digital zoom. Max shutter speed is a little slow at 1/2000 Vs 1/4000 for some others, but for the casual p&s user this is of little concern will not notice. It also has great high ISO images with little noise until you push into the 1600 and up still not that noticeable in general shooting at 3200 unless your really looking for it .

B&H is showing out of stock Discontinued but I think I have seen them on Amazon and flebay for 300-350

I am slowly turning into an Olympus guy, you might be able to find a new old stock Canon G9 for about 250-300 or a G11 for 300-400
