^ I love the stuff on your flickr!
I tried out my friend's 50mm f1.8 earlier today. Decided that for what I want to shoot, I should definitely go with the 35mm. I also need more practice with higher aperture shots. Fun stuff though, I really liked the "crispness" of the lens.

for free............... not a bad place to start from, you will outgrow it rather quickly though I would think. I would not turn the ISO up past 400 though or it will start to get really noisyThe American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. -Alexis de TocquevilleOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

get a cheap fast prime for it and start shooting in Manual or Aperture priority 50mm F1.8 is like a 125 bucks new the little palstic fantastic is a little long for landscaping but good for car people and general all around stuffs. I personally would be looking for something in the 28 or 35mm focal length on that crop body to play around with but those focal lengths are a little bit more moneyThe American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. -Alexis de TocquevilleOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

Nikon 70-300VR. I was too far away for really sharp shots with it. It goes soft after about 170mm, most of those were shot between 210 and 300mm. I really need to find a lens that is sharp from 200mm on. I am usually too far a way to use the lens in its sweet spot so I need to find something that is sharp closer to 300mm.
