    Alfas > Bimmers tho

I still kinda want a GTV6, even though they are supposedly terrible cars build wise.

      Fixed for ya!

There's a GTV6 around here that hits the track days occasionally, and it's pretty wicked sounding. Thought there also was one running Chump car, but may be mistaken.

yes, i keep looking at them too. there is nothing in that price range that comes close to making that alfa exhaust note. every time i actually come close to going to look at one, i just hit myself in the dick with a baseball bat. i figure its easier to get the pain and heart ache out of the way immediately while saving about 7 grand. from a reliability standpoint, they are generally a disaster. and the rust.....

^ Smart man. Still, a Callaway Turbo would be sort of cool. They are rare, but one might really scoot.... when it worked. hahaha. http://www.alfagtv6.com/callaway.htm

snapped this today. It didn't sell in September so I guess I'll relist it in spring. Kind of a unicorn (series 2 but Bosch electronic fuel injection). 94k. Wish someone would buy it!

Black is the best color on those. What year? Where did you list it?

I had two of these as a young punk.

Pininfarina body, light, aluminum 1600 twin-cam designed by a Ferrari engineer, great 5 speed, pretty reliable, nimble, fun to drive.

The fact that I bought them both as trashed beaters didn't help - I got rid of the last one so I could afford the Duetto.

(EDIT - these are NOT my cars!)

I always thought the coupe was pretty stylish too.

Like most sports cars then, they were ruined by bumpers, emissions controls, weight, AC, and electric windows.
