the surface has a keyboard, which is appealing to me.

this could be a tablet that I could actually use for work. you can't run CAD on a Android or Iphone. well, there's actually an Acad app, but it's terrible, and it doesn't do 3D at all.

idk because that really goes against what google wanted to do with android (some of you may know that google did NOT create android, they bought a company that did, and refined it. Nearly the same thing that Apple did with the iPod (the iPod was actually being developed elsewhere, but they bought out the designer))

google's philosophy with android:
everyone is welcome to use it how they want. here, we're even giving you the source code and instructions and a free developer kit and we're making this all publicly available so that everyone can use it and put it on whatever device they want to.

What this means is that it saves tech developers tons of time and money by giving them a platform that can be easily customized. This also means that it will proliferate through more devices a lot quicker, and this also means that google ad-mob is going to reach way more people, way more often, and bring them way more revenue.
