I still have the bottom half of that forged rod as a souvenier. Only found bits and pieces of the piston. Ahh that was a fun time.







I haven't been able to convince myself to do any real build since. It doesn't matter how well you build something, shit can and does go wrong. I can't bring myself to put the money out anymore.

That said, I'm not opposed to slapping a turbo on a stock engine and blowing it to smitherines. I'm just not dumping big bills onto an engine build when I could run through 4 stock blocks for the same cost.
