Did 8.25k on the elliptical. I'm thinking when it's warm enough for me to get started I'll be able to jog about 5k. The machine is very low impact. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

Dropped 9 pounds first week. Lets hope this momentum continues through the water weight loss phase into the cutting phase.

I need to get back into a fitness routine again.....used to be very active with biking/swimming/working out a few years ago but after purchasing the house (and all the projects that came with it), the 'routine' stopped. As a result, I have put on some poundage.....not a lot, but enough to notice a difference in how I feel and how some of my clothes fit. I'm 43 and ~5'11''. My ideal weight before was 185-190. Currently I'm tipping the scales at around 210, so at least 20lbs gone would be nice.

I let myself get a little fluffy over the winter. Was still in the gym a bit but I gained about 7lbs over the winter from drinking and inactivity. Already dropped 2, on my way to a lower weight and better shape than I was last year. I use a weight loss app to track my calorie intake and what I noticed is I eat WAY too many carbs. Problem for me is I don't eat meat so I eat alot of fruits and veggies and fruit has lots of carbs. Trying to find ways to cut that back.91 318is M50 swapped

I've been hitting the gym for a solid two weeks 5 days a week, cutting out almost all processed and sugar added foods and using the elliptical doing 6k most nights and I think I've lost 2lbs lol.
I have noticed a difference in muscle, though. I'm not so much concerned with the # on the scale but more so on how I look/performance. I think I've just replaced fat with muscle, which I am vey OK with.
I think to get rid of the last few lb of fat I'm gonna try adding a burner and protein. I sit on my ass most of the day at work so besides substituting coffee for green tea something to keep my motabolism up couldn't hurt.
