I'm just glad he didn't knock out that W113 pagoda-top.

Am I the only one who thinks Magnus Walker is a douche?

He is a self made man and I respect that. Showed up here from England with some clothing and a few bucks and made him self into what he is now. Gota give him some props for that.
Do I think he dresses funny and drives a little to crazy on public roads? Yes.
But Ill reserve judgment on him until I meet him face to face.
Funny thing is he is a driving instructor as track days and autox.sigpic

I really don't cast any kind of judgment on the guy.....just a car enthusiast showing off. Was it smart to do? Probably not....especially in the presence of media (which has gone viral). I just hope he learns a valuable lesson from this.
I've been a fan of vintage Porsches for many, many years.....way before Magnus' Urban Outlaw video. He has saved some great cars from turning to scrap and gave them his own personal touch. We are no different with our E30s.

I do remember seeing a video about him a while back, didn't recognize the name earlier.
Anyway, seemed cool in the video. Definitely has an interesting story to tell about his rise.
Wouldn't be the first time someone showed off and bit it. I've done it, most of us probably have.
Moving on, I'm surprised this thread has made it this far.No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

He seems like the Porsche version of a wealthy hipster bike builder who builds the oh so fad friendly cafe racer for other wealthy hipsters, but he never seemed douchey to me. Maybe arrogant. I don't dislike the cars he builds, they're no RUFs or Singers but I don't find them lame or garish like some of the stuff Akira Nakai builds, and I'm not even a purist.

I just like the cars, I don't know him personally so I simply don't entertain anything else, maybe I don't know what 'douchey' behavior is.My old Style 5 Thread / My Swap

URBAN OUTLAW is a portrait of Magnus Walker, the rebel Porsche customizer who turned a hobby into an obsession, and an obsession into a successful business. From…
"urban outlaw" - 40 minute movie all about him. He self describes himself..."It's part of the mystique... here's this cool guy that looks like a rock and roll homeless dude."I wouldn't want to have a movie or show done about my tuner shop with 911s but then again I don't have a giant tuner shop full of 911s so I guess good for him.

here's his car parked next to mine at the petro rally
It was also where I saw Magnus almost crash into a group of cyclists on PCH and also passing cars in the opposite lane around blind turns. Its one thing if your some dumbass kid on r3v, but when everyone knows who you are you should probably carry yourself a little better. I complained about it on the Petrolicious

Could have grafted a new roof portion on.
Also i guess I have to rephrase my opinion of him. I dont mind him, in some videos he seems like a douche, in others he seems like a really cool guy. I dont know it its just that he comes off more lame when doing businessy stuff or what.1989 BMW 325is | 2019 Ford Ranger FX4willschnitz
