My Glock 23 is a home defense/range gun, the S&W .38 goes in my Uncle Mikes inside the pocket holster.
Next will be probably a M1A or something along those lines.. a fun rifle to shoot open sights.
Then I'll be looking for a 9mm full size to shoot targets with.. not sure on the brand since I was set on Beretta 92 but it's not comfortable to me.
After that it's just going to be guns I "fancy" but don't have a need for or maybe get something w. a scope one day and shoot some distance target stuff.

Comp-tac mtac or crossbreed supertuck. Hybrids, kydex holster with a leather backing, are the most comfortable in my opinion.

Very nice, LMT makes good stuff. My friend has a similar model.

What brand of AR do you guys recommend looking into for a rifle n3wb?
Guy at work told me to check out Colt as I've decided to go off the shelf instead of trying to build something. :)

Larue, LMT, Colt, etc... how much money do you want to spend?

I was looking at M1A's and they run $13-1500..
Seems like people seem to have been recommending them since they're .223 generally, easier/costs less to shoot, and plentiful! :)
Still love the M1A style but felt it would be prudent to look into an AR.
                            Thanks!

Like dub said how much you got to spend. My New rig Pictured is well north of 3k (and thats with a hell of deal). But I like .308 so thats puts them up there a bit further.

You can get a Nice off the shelf LMT .223/5.56 piston gun for 1600ish fairly readily. Then you have optics and extra mags and shit like that too so figure a good 2k if you skimp a little on the glass.

You can go all the way down to RRA/DPMS/ and a few of the cheaper ones and still have a great gun in the 1200-1500 total package but the fit and finnish and the quality just is not there as it is with some of the more expensive options

and thanks guys I love the the thing got just a few rounds though it yesterday about 10. Its going to be a real hoot cant wait to hit the range and dial some shit in.
