It almost sounds like the cog and lockring were turning. First couple skids on mine I had to tighten it back down. Just take the pedal and kick the shit out of it until it gets tight again.

Mine did that, too. That's probably what you're experiencing. I just had my local shop reef the shit out of it with a lockring wrench.

That's pretty much the same color my frame is, but I cannot STAND those Zipp wheels. They look all huge and bulbous, like really big, overinflated tires.
