Id have a fixie if i had more money. Its crazy how the frames are evolving, So much beefier. Alot of my bmx buds got a fixies to. I see em occasionally down at the skate park. Im sure one day ill have one. Its nice to see gary fisher come back to. I thought that shit was dead.

Man, I don't think I've seen a group of people as polarized as cyclists: Road/MTB/Single/Fixed/BMX. Everyone hates on each other. Even within each discipline there are subsets of people. Front brake. No brakes. Downhill. XC.
STFU, just enjoy the fact that someone else is having fun on two wheels.

I can understand the argument about feeling more connected to the road. A fixie just wouldn't cut it for me. I ride a GT aggressor 2.0 mountain bike. I don't think I've ever even seen a fixie in person, but then again, I had never even heard of them until I came to this site so I never really paid attention.
