Most people under 40 are like this, and if you are less than 25 YIKES.
I am glad to say I am 25 and am not part of the group you are mentioning. I'm disgusted by many of my generations feelings of entitlement. I think the pic above is perfect. The person is living within their means and paying for college. I'm so tired of these kids that feel it is their right to have a brand new car, house, latest gadgets but aren't willing to work for them, they just feel it is their right to have them. Would I love a brand new car? Sure. But I can't afford that so I drive a $1000 old school BMW.
Im sick of there OWS brats! Grow a set!

Agreed I am a few years ahead of you, and feel the same way, I have lots of nice shit but I have earned it, and worked my ass off for every last bit of it.

See so many miss-informed people its sickening. All these unemployable dolts that at best deserve minimum wage based on appearance, answers, and signs. Call me old fashion but covered in tattoos, piercings, and un-kept hair makes me not want to hire them at ALL.

Get off your lazy asses and instead of assembling for this mindless blunder; go apply for jobs. When I graduated I literally applied for over a 1,000 jobs; of all those jobs I applied for I had 4 interviews and 3 job offers. Guess what I have a job!!!! In another year or two I'll be able to have my own house and continue to pay my taxes and debt off from student loans and a future mortgage.

I agree with ya on this. I can only imagine what their resumes look like, if they would educate themselves they could probably get jobs but instead they will continue to blame someone else...

The 30 I saw in that link, half of them easily were. I'm not doubting the system sucks and corporations are racking trillions and gazillions of dollars, but for Christ sakes accept responsibility for your own self and actions. I work for a fortune 200 company and know they wanna fuck every dollar out of me, so I make sure I have money in my savings and a resume in my car at all times.

He works under some of the most strict Union contracts known to any industry, coupled with some of the most protected private (yet federally protected and guaranteed) pensions in the country. His knows just what his employer can do when it comes his termination or furlough, and his employer cant just go around and fuck with him or his coworkers, as his industry is highly regulated by the Fed D.O.T. and has minimum requirements that have to be met, and has very very strict and highly enforced regulations so the job cant be done with less people on shift. (oddly enough the same is true in my industry)

Its not his right to a job, nor is it anyone else's right to have meaningful employment. Yeah your right companies big and small are trimming their labor force as its one of the few major costs they can control when shit is not going well

Edit: Fuck the rest of what I was going to say, its like a fart in the wind

How comfortable will you be saying that when you're 63, within two years to retire, and suddenly you get fired to be replaced by a college student. With no company retirement plan and being 'un-hireable', what would your attitude be then? And please answer me with some thing that doesn't borderline the idealism of these lame-O protesters.

Honestly, even with savings and yadda yadda yadda the reality of life is way more expensive for the non CEO/executive, or A.K.A the majority of the world, to afford at times. Remember, huge profits will always take priority and will always come at the cost of squishing the little man.

edit: I have no claim on how to make things better but only being a conscious observer of the world for 21 years now I do know when I'm being fucked. Of course GC can say it better than I can.

Misleading figures are misleading. The population more than doubled in that time frame. Ergo, the total percentage on average has gone down.

The chick with the nose ring and tattoos on her neck that doesn't have a job better not be wondering why nobody wants to hire her. I sure as hell wouldn't.
