2000+ years? 1900 of those years we didn't know anything about ourselves. 200 years ago we still thought the earth was flat.

    LOL

Sorry, but your religion was made up by human to explain the unknown of their time. Oh and also to control, and make money.

To make money? Unless a church is corrupt(in which case it has been called out), the money is used to help the less fortunate.

So we know that much more about the world now?

Oh really? Do you know your religion's history? Doesn't seem like it.

There are so many inconsistencies and hypocritical statements in thr bible as to make it null and void.

Like I asked in the other thread, why does a loving God ban people to hell just because they have never had missionaries visit to spread the word? Why not reveal himself to them?

He doesn't ban people to hell. he puts a savior out there.

            As for the second part, here is what I believe based on the Bible, though there is debate among Christians;

Those who have never heard of them, still have the earth and its wonders to reveal His wonders. Those who put faith in a god have put faith in God. How are they to know any religion? They have never been taught any of that. But they have acknowledged a God, therefor will be saved.

how much is the catholic church worth? and you really need to learn it's history, keyword: indulgences. and before you say that's not my church, realize that it's your churches father. it wasnt until martin luther split the church in 1517 that there was more than 1 church.

and if you need time and history to prove your religion is real, i guess a lot of religions are good to go then.

My point. The Catholic was called out after the selling of indulgences and saving family members from purgatory started.

Humans will corrupt a good thing over time.

Does he have any other videos where he actually makes an intelligible point, or does more than skim over the Bible and try to use false info or take things out of context? Honestly asking.

The founders knew well enough the dangers of intermixing religion and government, as demonstrated in England as well as Spain. I think the fact that many people immigrated to America to escape religion persecution or to enjoy freedom of religion (or freedom to not have one) ought to underline how silly it is that a politician is now pushing to reduce the separation of church and state.

Those who fail to learn from history are bound to suffer from its same problems.

Exactly, but it is near impossible to ignore your beliefs when creating something, is it not?

The same reason most people can't do the same on car forums, or any other aspect of life.

really? you didnt pick up on at least one point? honestly asking.

i felt that the whole, "science is amazing and so is the universe," were 2 pretty big points.

i'll put it another way, science is the reason we can drive e30s.

Who's denying either of those things? I thought it was kind of obvious that world around us, and the amazingness of the way it thrives and was understood.
