I don't do it for your, or the respect of anyone else. I do it for myself. It doesn't affect my "worldview" in the slightest.

Can you prove Bigfoot does NOT exist?

Also, during a hot steamy sex session, do you scream out "Oh Nothing, this feels soooooo gooood!!!!!!" ?

Believing in something with absolutely zero empirical evidence simply because it makes you feel good is not a rational approach to life. It's no different from believing in big foot or the Loch Ness Monster, it is an irrational, unfounded opinion that deserves zero respect. The difference with a belief in god is that this particular irrationality typically has a huge impact on an individual's worldview.

As long as when the companies profits skyrocket, that CEO shares some of the profits with God then I'm cool with that.

Eh, who knows, maybe the God we speak of is just a mid level regional manager for a take out pizza chain in the 5th dimension. Imagine the universe his boss must have. Or the one the CEO of the chain has!

I'm confused. God set the universe in motion? Who set God in motion?

Kinda defeats all the people that say you have to do good/be good to get to heaven, right? Maybe some people just have the receiver on their radio tuned in, and are free to live their life, but they are getting in anyway.
Not really, because you are not really free to do what you want. Everything is planned. Me typing this is planned. Everything. You don't do what you want. You do what is in the plan for you.

Yes, but God knows the end. He's got a spot reserved for those who He planned to get to heaven.

Not trying to tear down, just sayin' that's how I perceive it.

Too much "plan" then making excuses to make it work then it not really working, so more excuses.

Yes, I believe in an entity, "god". There's simply got to be something, whether "god" is energy, a living being, aliens, etc.

God, to me, is a way to explain how things work in the universe we don't understand.

Then people try to throw both together with the whole "God made everything then left it to it's own" which really doesn't work either.

Of course not, because it's bullshit.
