You might want to study up on how impeachment works. Pretty sure he is going to be just fine.

I read an article last night that said they can't prove Biden did anything wrong.

He is literally on stage at the Council of Foreign Affairs, on a widely available video, saying, "I told them they would not be getting the $1 Billion loan guarantee, if they didn't get rid of the prosecutor."

The prosecutor that was looking into Biden's son over corruption.

This could be pretty serious, or it could be a huge flop for the Dems.

They've been reporting said prosecutor was known as being very corrupt, so Biden is in fact the champion of morality and transparency in the Ukraine.

Had that video shown Biden in blackface, the media may have cared. At least for a day or two, amirite Canadia?

There is a widely held misconception that blindly supporting someone and not grabbing your pitchfork immediately is one in the same thing.

From the GOP supporting his actions, to people supporting his actions, it's an allegiance of sorts that's quite interesting to watch.
The cult of personality is quite strong.

That being said, really interested to see how the GOP handles the impeachment inquiry. Might see the part actually begin to distance themselves from the Trump administration.
Conversely the Dems better make sure these whistle blowers have merit.

I really don't see how it's going to be any different from what has been the status quo for the last two+ years. They just released Trump's call to Zelensky and it's far from damning. It's going to be a long 13 months.

I'll take a look at it when I have the time. If this is true then they went full "Too soon junior" on Trumpy-chan.

I really thought the Dems were just going to wait it out. If they don't have an air-tight case they could very well lose in 2020 over it.
Man, I'd love to see another conservative candidate run against Trump and win, but that's just not going to happen.

After 3yrs of Trumps personality, the country is immune to him. People have sized him up and decided one way or the other what they think about him. My guess is this goes nowhere. All the dems needed to do was be a bit reasonable to be palatable to the majority. They decided to go full retard. Pelosi is grasping at straws to keep her party together. She is just doing what her left flank is demanding hoping to save a party that is eating its own.

I would welcome the change of decorum with a Pence presidency. Trump has however exposed the dems extreme left views many have suspected them of. It’s basically a socialist party at this point.

I guess Kavanugh Can breathe a little bit easier, has the same people calling for his impeachment last week had moved on to Trump. I wonder who will be impeached next week?

Remember, this is an impeachment inquiry, Trump isn't actually being impeached just yet. The House, it appears, does have the 218 vote majority to officially send impeachment proceedings to the Senate, but they will need to conduct a full investigation prior to doing that, which will take some time.

I guess there are two ways to look at all of this in relation to the Democrats, they are either going to damage their chances in 2020 because people will look at them as vindictive, or they are going to help their chances because people will look at them as having taken action when action was necessary. I don't know that I've made up my mind which one I believe to be closer to the truth, it's really too early to tell just yet.

What appears to be at the end of this, however, is the same thing that happened to Clinton in 98, the House sent articles of impeachment to the Senate and the Senate found him not guilty. He finished out his term in office and that was that. The only thing people remember about any of it was the Blue Dress with Clinton's DNA on it. With Trump, the House has the votes to send articles of impeachment to the Senate, but in the Senate you need a 60 vote majority to impeach and that's not going to happen given that the Senate is controlled by the GOP and this hasn't yet appeared to be so clear cut that the Republicans in the Senate would turn against Trump (like they would have if Nixon hadn't resigned after Watergate).

That's what it is currently, more information could come to the fore that would change the minds of the people in Congress, but my guess is that as with the Russia investigation, that's not going to happen, it's just going to be a lot of talk and conjecture, with ultimately nothing that truly sticks. If I'm proven wrong then so be it, but I doubt that'll happen.

does anyone need any additional proof that Trump has been spied on? The NYT reports the whitsleblower is a CIA operative detailed to the White House under Brennan

And thanks to the DNC and the intelligence community that hates Trump, their actions have pretty much cooked their top candidate Biden, meaning Warren is the nominee, and guaranteeing Trump is reelected

Caught the synopsis of the transcripts. It's not enough.
The House will most likely draft the articles of impeachment, but I doubt it will get the required votes in the Senate.

Claims of cover-ups are coming out: (Consider the sources)

A whistleblower's complaint about President Trump's communications with Ukraine has been declassified. Follow here for the latest news and updates on Joseph Maguire's testimony.

The president made his remarks just as the director of national intelligence testified about the importance of protecting people who expose misconduct.

Why do people think that Biden is going to get hurt by any of this? He was involved because he delivered a message about the removal of a prosecutor in Ukraine in order for them to secure a loan deal from the US. Doesn't appear to have anything to do with Joe Biden on a personal level as long as there was no connection between the prosecutor and the company that his son, Hunter was on the board of in Ukraine. Even if there was, I doubt anyone could actually show proof of it, even in that case, Biden has already publicly stated that he was delivering the message for the US govt, which allows him to deflect responsibility.

Biden has already shown much greater staying power than his last runs at the presidency. Calling Warren anything but a candidate currently is simply ignoring the fact that we haven't even had a primary yet and we won't for another 4 months.
