Damn, that's crazy Mike. Good thing they aren't up on BMWs like they are Hondas. I am surprised they didn't run the engine VIN to see if it was stolen...then wrote you a ref ticket.

About ~10 years ago in Fresno, I used to get pulled over all the time when I had a mk2 GTI with a VR6 swapped in. I loved watching the cops face light up when they would ask me if the engine was original and I would gladly say NO. They'd ask me to pop the hood and I happily obliged. They always left with a frown because I had a BAR sticker in the engine bay :)

The cops asked me the same thing and I said it was the original engine. They poked around a while but I guess it was dirty enough to not raise any eyebrows.

Not sure if I told you that story Mike? I beat around the bush saying some came turbo diesel, some didn't, blah blah and he let me off.

I got pulled over one time in my old e30 with the m50, he didnt seem to car about the engine, was more concerned about where and when i was going to the track cuz he wanted to come with
Do you have a Ed Plan in place currently?
If not and you just need to build up units or whatever i'd say take relatively easy classes that have no real pre-reqs like Sociology. Also if you're somewhat athletic or have interest in sports, one of those beginner-intermediate sporting classes would be a fun easy choice too.
