These have always intrigued me as a cheap 911. Apparently the intermediate shaft bearing (under the rear main seal) goes out on a few of them and trashes the engine. And parts are still way too expensive.

Don't know if it registers SoCal's Pick Your Parts, but I use it for NorCal's Pick and Pulls
Pretty easy and straightforward to use; even lists things like color code, VINs and model, not just the generic "1985 BMW"
