anyone on this forum work on music as a hobby?

I work on music semi-professionally. I had formal training in recording and engineering. Worked professionally as a post production sound editor for a few years plus various other side gigs here and there.

I'm up for my 1st star smog and I'm not sure if I should risk it. I legally passed smog last year with a 2.5 motor in my eta, but the smog guy was questioning my motor. Should I try legally again? Opinions?

Honestly most smog guys won't know the difference between an e and an i engine. I would just take it and not worry.
