I want to buy one after I graduate college as a gift to myself. I want to actually spend some time in one to get some added motivation. Was hoping I could tag along with a current owner on a canyon cruise or something. I'll fill up their tank, buy em lunch, a drink, and take some awesome photos of their car wherever we go. Its not to see IF I want one, its to reaffirm how much I want one.

I'd sell the e30 if i was in line to get a same era 911. fuck it

Both. I would have a MUCH smaller payment with the E30 sold and I would also have one less car I would want/need to modify

Id love a 911, but honestly I would prefer a mid engine Porsche and you can get a Cayman S that would be better in every way for less a run of the mill mid 80s 911... the problem is that even the Cayman S would only be better in a few ways than my E30, but the negatives are much more (cost of ownership, cost of insurance AND having a car payment)
