First depressurize the system: remove the fuse for the fuel pump, then start the car (it will die immediately). Then proceed to removing bolts/hoses CAREFULLY. Catch spilled fuel with rags and water them down after, and don't dent the rail if you have to use leverage to pop the rail up. I don't remember what was more of a pain in the butt; separating the injectors from the manifold, or separating the injectors from the rail. When you reinstall, I remember lubing the injector-to-manifold o-ring with motor oil, so they slip in easier.

 Hmm, I remember only 4 bolts.Comment

I don't know the name of the place, but it is right next to LSD Motorsports in Cypress. My buddy got his Evo detailed there and he did a really good job on it. Idk if he's done E30s, but I see E30s from time to time in the parking lot. Comment

All the right tools including the long extensions to get the top tranny bolts off? Engine lift/support brace? With all the above, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Only replacing the clutch kit?"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Yeah, literally every tool you can think of. It's a business where you pay hourly to use their 8 lifts and tools with staff on hand to help, but not touch.
I should do my motor mounts while I'm at it - one is melted, thanks for mentioning the support brace.
Any tips before I jump in? Trying to think of other "while you're in there" maint. to get done. Yes, just the clutch kit (a new Spec 3+).Comment
