    Thanks, I'll try that.

I have a 3.5" MAF on my 24v, coming from the elbow to an air filter. The thing is, I also have a Castro airbox I'd like to install and I cant find a 3.5" piece of piping that a muffler shop sells to extend one more inch into the box.

My second problem is the filter, the one I have on there doesn't fit and it hits the ABS mudule or protrudes out from the top (cone filter). So what are my options, has anyone done something similar? I can only find 3" piping from local muffler shops too, if you have a lead lmk, any help is appreciated.
Stop looking at muffler shops. Plus, you don't need steel tubing for this.

          Buy this:

Amazon, Summit Racing, Pep Boys, etc.

Summit Racing has a nice catalog that lets you search filters (like K&N) by size, length, width, etc. Measure the room you have and try to find something that fits.

Or, just leave the stock MAF. :)

As an employee of a former muffler shop//now chassis reinforcements shop, I am HIGHLY DISTRAUGHT by the lack of faith you have in my business to supply E30 owners with valuable services. In fact, just a few weeks ago, I cut and welded 2man's front struts for his coilovers!

                You're welcome.

Btw Matt, I sent an email to bimmerheads about a 24v issue I am having. Let me know if I should send that email again. :)

Hey if I have an early model, and I want to use a late model radiator and coolant res, all I have to change is the water pump and associated hoses, right?
