No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I spent some time with the OZ wheels to figure out what I am dealing with. I originally thought they clear coated. Here is what I started with.
As you can see they are fully dull and have water spots and brake dust deposits. So I started with clay bar and cleaner wax to see if I could get the water spots out. Soon enough I found out the wheels were NOT clear coated at all so I went and got my aluminum polish.
This is my "test" to make sure they weren't clear coated. I only did a very light polish on the center spokes. Sure enough the spots started to come out.
So I spent about 30 more minutes giving the entire wheel a polish. It sucks trying to get around the bolts by hand. I am going to have to go out and buy a polisher of some sort. I will probably try the mothers powerball first just because it is cheap and used for polishing wheels :)
Final product for the day.
This was all done in my kitchen with poor lighting. They are shining really well even just by a short hand polish. I will get some daylight pictures once I buy an automated polisher of some sort.
