Unrelated question, but do you have any sound clips of the 3.8L S38 with the CF box? Did it make any real difference in power? It looks tits.

I don't, no, but Martin, the owner of MAXX did a quick clip. It sounds a bit like a E46 M3 CSL, but not as cool as a S14 with a carbon airbox. The longer gaps between valves opening in the 4 cylinder make the car sound way cooler than a 6 cylinder carbon airbox.

I just looked for the vid, and can't find it anymore on his site. It does look like a nice French E30 with a S38 swap has the airbox though.

No clue. Caps say Borbet, but there is no markings on the wheel anywhere. I think I've seen them on VW, but i'm not even sure if they are 4x100.

It's been there forever! The plane isn't airworthy, and I believe it's used for a maintenance school.
