          Timing service on an A6?

There isn't much I like doing less. Yuck. Is it a 2.7T or 2.8/3.0?

12 Hours of sanding, sanding, sanding, primering, adhesion promoting, painting, bumper coating (the black bits), and clear coating just for my front bumper. WTF! I'm so over painting.

I love it, but I don't have the time to practice it or enjoy it.

That's the least evil of the bunch.

It has been a while since I did an A6, I don't remember how hard it is to get the front bumper off. Putting the car in service mode is the only way to do the job in a time-effective way though. I'm sure there are DIY's online that explain the process in detail.

That's good to hear. He was going to trade it for a 2.7T last year but he kept hearing about the service horrors!

He sent me some DIY that I will be reading tonight.
