          Eric,

I just read the whole "ride" thread. Holy shit man, I think we all need to road trip to the Springs for a ride in your car! Or you can give the other's a ride in that and I'll follow in the M5!

Here's another E30 that's new to the Mountain Crew. It's my buddy Jon's (he owns the other red M Coupe that everyone always thinks is me). I heard about it from Mike who bought Chris's 88 325is. Jon was looking for an IX for a DD.

88 325ix. Sport interior, heated seats. 168K miles. Mechanic owned. Jon added a his custom paint job to the peeling paint on the hood!

Token shot of the one wheel that I finished

Eric that alpine is dirty! I'm sure you won't feel like it is over powered at 6500 feet in colorado springs, the wheels and stance are sick.

cloud base, thats a sick ix! add more to the crew!

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Alex... Is he planning on doing plastic bumpers? What front valence does he have?

Sorry about the tie rod Alex, I've had good luck with the hammer and crowbar method. Leave the nut on the end of the bolt and hit it with a hammer while applying pressure between the tie rod and control arm (nowhere near the ball joints or tie rod ends.) just replacing front springs yesterday this worked great, except for the driver side ball joint which took the use of a special ball joint tool after way too much time...

Not that it helps after the fact, but maybe someone else will have a better experience? I am swapping in the h&r sport rears today, hopefully it will be quick!

Got the other front side in today, took just over an hour instead of 4. God it's painful learning as I go. Was going to start the back and decided I needed more parts. Ordered $500 worth. Turns out the tie rods weren't that big of a deal, I ouldn't have gotten it back together anyway. When I drilled out my seized rotor bolt I nicked the threads on half of the hub. Luckily it was the side that needed a new bearing anyway. Also ordered a tie rod puller so I don't ever fuck my tie rods again!

Put an offer on this house, kind of nervous about the garage (only part I care about) since I'm not able to see it in person. My wife says it's awesome, and not like all the other tickey tackey houses that are boring and look like everybody elses on the street.

The service member in me see's that that flag needs to come down at dusk or have a light shinning on it at night:hitler:

I like the ceilings and hardwood floors. The separated garage door has always made me nervous as it's hard to get a car in the center for big jobs.

I wish there were houses in that price range near Golden!

yes, but seperate doors *usually* mean that the garage is bigger than a large single. That's what I found with houses back in CA.

If I were looking for houses, I'd rent an airplane hanger with a loft above for sleeping and cooking... But a happy wife is a happy life:puppy:

                            True!

We have found a few places with detached storage buildings with 6+ car storage. BUT, the kitchen isn't good enough and therefore it's a no go....

Nice ix too....I'd buy one if I could find a nice one. I think I'm too picky though.
