        I need a battery...

Any better than regular batteries that you kids are running these days? Aside from small LW, it is in the trunk, im fine with weight back there.

My car sits more than driven, does that change anything?

Otherwise the plan is Sears. I live in SE Portland

        Thanks

Since we switched to Interstate our battery issues at the shop have all but disappeared.

If your car sits a lot pull the ground off of the battery and/or use a battery tender. Your battery life is reduced drastically when it sits around in a state of discharge for long periods.

^Armor Plate. Batteries Plus is currently romancing the boss with lower prices but we're all liking Interstate. Good batteries= less after hours call outs, fewer change-outs, less work. There are many more brands than manufacturers, btw.

Yeah, you run the risk of not getting a proper seal if it's already been used. It's stupid, lazy, or cheap to not use a new crush washer that costs maybe 50 cents on something like an oil feed banjo on a turbo and possibly wreck the bearings from oil starvation, for example. That's just my opinion from working with expensive Garrett turbos.

So long as some jackass didn't over tighten the banjo bolt and put a crease in it a solid crush washer is reusable like 400,000 times. And even if it's creased you can touch it up on a bench grinder and reuse with zero issues or worries. /old guy rants.

I used the same washer for the chain tensioner on my m42... So far so good.

It's a piece of mind thing for me. I can't stop thinking about shit like that and won't let a washer be the "weak" link in my mind. In a pinch, I would re-use but plan on replacing with a new one.

Thanks for the input. A tender has been a thought in the back of my head for a while now.

                              Quick question guys...

I can't decide so I want to know what the majority does.. on M20 intake gaskets, do you use another sealer like copper gasket with them or just straight gaskets

Shouldn't need sealant. Just the gasket.
