He could mean the M30 is stock. Not as in its the cars stock engine but rather the engine is unmodified.

I would call, but after looking at it a little closer, that paint's pretty shot and don't want to deal with paint work at the moment.

I have a good ETA motor for him...low miles and good compression on all 6!
