    Where should I get my 'is' lip painted in alpinewhite? in Seattle

      I would have jacked out the dent, sanded it. And rattle canned the area and rocked it till i could get a respray. That thing was clean.

        M20 Gurus...

        It was my understanding that iX and iS heads were all 885 heads. No difference at all.

        Just had a coworker tell me they are different. Gonna cross reference part numbers but curious if anyone can verify this from experience?!

          All m20 I motors used head 1705885.

                Yup! Just needed the second opinion. Also called BMW Seattle and they verified it as well. The show goes on.

                      Needed a new company car, so we decided to pickup a 2006 X5 4.8is to take clients around in, my god I didn't realize how fast those things were.

                      And I thought the 4.6is I drove several years ago was quick...
