Couldn't even enjoy a 30 second start up. Losing traction once I hit vanos at 50 MPH was a pretty fair trade though :)

'jadfkl;dsalfjd;falks words can't even begin to describe how happy I am right now. Gonna have the UUC box and OBD2 midsection installed tomorrow.

Remove valve cover, clean mating surfaces and wipe down with solvent to ensure good clean mating surfaces. Apply a small amount of RTV to cam seal and timing cover areas, top and bottom. Install and torque studs to 8 ft lbs (or with a 1/4" air ratchet, just as good.)

RTV sucks. Did you scratch the piss out of the mating surface on the head? Did you start at the middle and torque your way out in two or three steps? Also, I've noticed that all the 24v covers tend to leak at the bottom back corner, so I usually wrap a bead of Right Stuff from the cam cutout down and around the corner half way to the second nut.

I was using Right Stuff. Started inside and worked my way out. Cam seals and the back corners all got siliconed. A buddy of mine suggested that the valve cover may be slightly bent, which would cause the exhaust side to leak.
