Decent shops in the area? I have a crazy idea but I'd need someone with time and a lift.

My parts car has an excellent condition drivetrain (shocks and brakes done recently, stainless steel brake lines, etc), my 4 door is shit all around. I want to see if it's possible to stick both cars on lifts, disconnect everything, and swap them. I'd also want to redo the diff mount and all the bushings/tie rods while I was at it.

Is this crazy talk? It just seems like a ton of work to pull all of that stuff individually and then reinstall (2x, since I'd still like my parts car to at least roll).

There's a shop that just opened up in kirkland where you can rent lifts, and they will provide a toolchest full of tools for you to use.

Its cause a SEMA spec wash and wax everywhere would be a massive PITA I'd imagine I hate washing my truck because I always feel like theres more things to wash after I'm done:(

One of the weirder things about SEMA is that outside is like a giant car show except joe-anyone can't just bring a car, you don't hang out by it, don't leave a sign by it (usually), and you often don't even have labels for your brand on it.

Sometimes there is a business card under the wiper of who built it.

But yeah, you can't just bring a car to SEMA.
