Also, did they ever REALLY make an M3 vert? Asking cause I don't know and I know of the folklore of those cars.
There is at least one m3 vert in our area. It is owned by an older gentleman (50sish)

I think Lance mentioned he was at the e30 Picnic last year, perhaps this year will be an opportunity to see it in person if you haven't yet.

This area is rich enough I wouldn't be surprised at m3 verts

So would an m3 vert replica just be a vert with the fenders, bumpers, door mod and the side skirts.

Well the easiest way ive seen to tell difference between real m3 vert and fake is the dash, real deal M3 Verts almost always had leather wrapped dashes.

But yeah the rep is basically all the M3 body parts grafted on except for the rear, dont remember if they came with spoilers but I doubt it.

Hmm, building a vert sounds easier than building a coupe m3 as you don't have to obtain the unobtainable back glass pieces.

If you chop off the roof of a coupe will the car fold in half?

Messed around with the N54 engine, took some measurements for mounts, and it looks very promising! Length wise between the M20,m30, and n54, the N54 is the middle man, good news for fan fitment.

We grabbed a g260 and matched up some holes for fun, about %75 of them line right up, which is kinda cool.

Tomorrow I might trying to get the cluster and everything to turn on with my current wiring.

I cant wait to see this bitch in the engine bay!

786 isn't a lot but i certainly wouldnt call it few, I think most of the issue is how many were certainly trashed before people realized they were rare. Im sure many stayed in germany.
